What is OET? What does OET assess?
The Occupational English Test (OET) is an international English language test that assesses the language proficiency of healthcare professionals seeking to register and practice in an English-speaking environment. OET provides a valid and reliable assessment of all four language skills – listening, reading, writing, and speaking – with an emphasis on communication in healthcare professional settings.
Note: Should you choose to register for the OET (Paper / Computer) test you need to achieve an overall score of at least 4 x B’s (Subject to change in Jan 2024) in order to meet the immigration requirements to work in Australia as a Nursing Support Worker, Personal Care Assistant or an Aged or Disabled Carer
